Although reportage photography is about capturing ‘the decisive moment’, as Henri Cartier-Bresson described it, anticipating the sequence of events greatly increases the chance of success. However different or avant-garde the couple may believe they are in their wedding plans, there is invariably a subtle adherence to the standard format.

By liaising diligently with a couple prior to their wedding and finding out as much as possible about them and their guests, we can ensure we are as prepared as we can be for any opportunities that arise.

As the couple left to have some romantic photographs taken, they used a golf buggy that was lent to them. We ran behind, but captured this shot first.
